Nebivolol Deus Medical Nebimed 5 is a highly selective beta-blocking drug of β 1 receptors. In addition to being cardioselective, nebivolol induces nitric oxide vasodilation.
It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate to improve blood flow and lowering blood pressure.
Reduction of high blood pressure
The usual dose from Nebivolol Deus Medical Nebimed 5 is 5mg per day, taken as a single dose with or without food, the maximum dose is 10mg per day taken in two separate doses with or without food.
It is recommended to start with 1.25mg per day, after a week increase to 2.5mg per day, then increase to 5mg per day and if necessary to 10mg.
The therapeutic effect on blood pressure becomes evident after one or two weeks of treatment.
